The Brampton Lions earned a playoff birth with a well played game at Victoria Park against London City. Jeremy Shepperd opened the scoring at the 30th mark of the game, and scored his second of the game at the 70th minute. Daniel Nascimento finshed the scoring making it a final score of 3-0 . With the win the Brampton Lions FC secure a playoff spot for the second year in a row. This time the Lions are focusd on making it further than the last years quarter finals. With three games remaining there is still hope to catch National Division leaders Trois Rivieres. The Lions return to action on September 12th against Portugal FC at Lamport Stadium.
