The Brampton Lions FC opened the scoring in the first 10 minutes on a great run by David Guzman who beat the goalie to the ball and scored into the empty net. Five minutes later, another penalty shot called against the Lions at home made it 1-1. Both teams created numerous opportunities, but the goalies were up to the task of not letting another goal get by them. The final result was a 1-1 tie.

The Lions return to Victoria Park this Friday July 24th where they take on last year's CSL Champions the Serbian White Eagles at 8:00pm. This event is expected to be sold out as it is "DIXIE DAY", and teams from the club will come out and support their affiliated team.
