Brampton Lions FC Sign Nascimento, Silva, Arbelo, Shepperd, & Medwin

The Bramtpon Lions FC are proud to announce the return of CSL MVP Daniel Nascimento for the 2009 season. Nascimento led the league with 18 goals in his first season, and looks to match or beat that number on May 31st against Toronto FC. The Lions are excited to have signed Andrew Silva, Alex Arbelo, Jeremy Shepperd, and Cam Medwin. Also joining the Brampton Lions FC for his first season in the CSL is David Guzman who played with Toronto FC Reserve and first team. David brings a wealth of experience, and will bring great pace and vision to the game.
The Lions look to improve their third place finish in 2008, and open up the season at their home field Victoria Park on May 31st against Toronto F.C Academy at 3:00pm.
If you would like to catch the Lions in action this week, they will be hosting Toronto Croatia as the Feature Match for the Umbro Showcase this Friday at the Hershey Indoor Center with kick-off slated at 8:30pm.
