Lions player receive top goal scorer and MVP awards

The CSL award ceremony took place before the CSL playoffs finals on September 26th with a Brampton Lions FC player receiving two awards. Daniel Nascimento, who at only 22 years of age, scored more goals this year than anyone else in the CSL. Daniel scored 18 goals this season and the achievement is even more impressive considering the goals were scored in just 18 games.
Daniel also won the award for the MVP of the 2008 CSL season. Daniel was a vital part of the success of the club in its first year in Brampton and TFC acknowledged that by asking him to play for the TFC Reserves where in his first game for them he scored a goal.
