The Brampton Lions FC gained another 3 points on the weekend with their win over the North York Astros with a score of 3-1. Jeremy Sheppard scored twice for Brampton Lions in their 3-1 victory over the Astros at Esther Shiner Stadium in North York, he opened the scoring at 4 minutes and bagged the third at the 39 minute mark, while the league's leading scorer Daniel Nascimento, headed in the second Brampton goal at the 20th minute. That marked his 16th goal of the 2008 Canadian Soccer League Season. The North York Astros scored at the 90th minute mark through Selvin Lammie to pull the score back to 3-1.
