During a wide-ranging interview by a hard-hitting Anthony Totera on the OSATv Touchline, the CSL chairman asked the soccer community to look forward and not dwell on the past when it comes to progress in Canadian soccer, including Canada’s national team and its lack of presence in the World Cup.
Di Gironimo considers development of Canada’s teenage players a key ingredient to improve the product on the pitch for his own Canadian Soccer League and it’s that same development of Canada’s soccer youth that will improve the game at an even higher level -- reaching eventually to the national team.
